Bulldog Interactive is an independent UK software developer, specialising primarily in computer and video game production. We are based in the historic market town of
Ashby-de-la-Zouch, in North West Leicestershire, England. Bulldog was founded in 1999 by Jonathan Harris, a keen video games developer and designer with over 16 years industry experience. We are a small studio, and as such we tend to specialise in the more compact-sized projects, but our ideas are big and we are hugely passionate about what we do.
We are perhaps best known for developing billiard style games. Our flagship titles Cue Club and more recently Cue Club 2 are award-winning pool and snooker simulations for PC. The series has been translated into 10 languages and sold the world over, making it arguably the most successful game of its genre. Since the initial release of Cue Club in 2000, Bulldog has successfully adapted its in-house technology to create bespoke titles for numerous other clients, ranging from coin-operated arcade machines to online tournaments with integrated payment solutions that deliver cash prizes.
Bulldog is also an approved Nintendo DS developer, and our debut DS title World Cup Of Pool is currently on sale in Europe through publishers Midas Interactive (US distribution rights are now available - please contact us for more info). Fully licensed and based on the official tournament of the same name, World Cup of Pool delivers supreme graphics and playability, and features over 60 of the world's top ranked players including Ronnie O'Sullivan, Earl Strickland and Efren Reyes to name a few.
Whatever your requirements, Bulldog is fully dedicated to the job in hand. We work very closely with our clients, from concept stage right through to completion, to deliver a solution that we hope will exceed your expectations. This level of commitment has enabled us over the years to forge many strong and healthy relationships with the individuals and businesses we work with.
